September started with a Partners brunch at the Intercontinental Buckhead in Atlanta, GA. Future architectural collaborations were discussed as a curated list of international designers were considered for an upcoming sustainable build that will be managed by eurketSTEAMlabs. 

The fashion division of eurketSTEAMlabs has made progress with it’s patent-pending sustainable fabric for the development of a line. The nature-inspired affiliate of the company is being restructured for optimal synergy. The one-of-a-kind innovative fabric was designed/inspired by eurketSTEAMlabs chair, Jacinda, whose background is in technology, engineering, agriculture, and the arts and designed in 2020 while in a Georgia Tech incubator program.

Jacinda has also done notable work to  “Save the Bees” and improve Georgia’s air quality and environment by designing the world’s first Apiary Park in 2018, in partnership with Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, with co-collaborators, Morehouse alum, Geordon Streat and Julian Streete. As the 1st place winners in ATLthinks, Jacinda & team won a contract with the world’s busiest airport to build in collaboration with Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport’s GreeningATL division. GreeningATL reflects a commitment to achieve the triple bottom line — people, planet and profits — while working to become the world’s “greenest” airport. Through innovation and cutting-edge technologies, the airport has pledged to strategically incorporate a common-sense approach to manage resources to ensure a sustainable future. To that end, the Department of Aviation has pledged to plan, build, operate and maintain an integrative approach to achieve measurable results that propel our community, stakeholders and the environment with direction from eurketSTEAMlabs and affiliates. 

Woolford welcomes two new members, Keth and Rueiz, to his educational and business team as a Professor of Practice. Both Keth and Rueiz along with FRQNCY will participate in the sustainability themed mixed media laser show that will debut this fall in Downtown Atlanta, GA. The professor by day, artist by night and well-established placemaker technology painter has created his own unique style of artistry that mixes film, digital layering, lasers, and projection technology. 

eurketSTEAMlab’s affiliate Avaloy Studios, creator of Yasuke, will soon release the beta version of their newest game: The Legend of Bass Reeves, based on one of the most revered, respected, and noted  United States Marshalls (and American Cowboy), which will be demo’d at DreamHack 2024

This years eurketSTEAMlabs automotive engineers meeting took place in Boca Raton, Florida where a private group of partners were invited to experience the Rolls Royce Spectre— the world’s first ultra luxury electric super coupe, and a first for the Rolls Royce line. Key Features: Electric powertrain with 577 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque 260 miles of range on a single charge, Ultra-luxe interior with premium materials and bespoke customization options, Rides on the same platform as the Phantom and Cullinan.

eurketSTEAMlabs newest collaborator, Henry, has prototyped a new materials design, inspired by 3D printing, which he has displayed on his Lamborghini Urus. The Urus boasts 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, producing up to 657 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. The Urus SE, Lamborghini’s new plug-in hybrid vehicle, was unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24. Noted as the most powerful Urus ever, the Urus SE, offers an unparalleled driving experience thanks to the plug-in hybrid system that improves the vehicle’s performance and dynamics. The Urus SE features a twin-turbo 4.0 V8 engine and a 25-kWh lithium-ion battery, which delivers a total output of 800 CV (789 horsepower) and sprints from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds (Urus S: 3.5), reaching a top speed of 194 mph (Urus S: 190 mph). The permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor located inside the 8-speed automatic transmission can act as a boost for the V8 combustion engine, but also as a traction element, making the Urus SE a 100% electric 4WD vehicle capable of traveling more than 37.28 miles in EV mode.

Both Chief Professorial Officer Kris Woolford and Chief Counsel Jawara Mars have been invited to participate in the Guyana Association of Georgia Youth Symposium.  In junior engineer news, Isabella, junior fashion engineer, started designing at 4 years old under the direction of eurketSTEAMlab’s chief engineer, Jacinda and the instruction of fashion designer, Keysia. eurketSTEAMlab’s ATL Waterboi filmcamps private school team, led by Professor Woolford, will resume it’s next phase soon with the building of a mini set for their toy-focused action-packed short film.
